I can not feel my flesh. psycho riot once again
Nervous stress in my cell.(i am) alone again in my head
Thoughts suffocate me nothing has value to me
Into the void nothing can live
It's like poison running throught my veins
Memories are rooms of pain
Memories deep within
It is pain, a mental disease
Razors cutting my skin
Nothing means anything
The crown of depression, it's social creation
Timeless termination for mind's violation
Can Ι feel it?it's inside me
Like a demon that feeds by me
I am loathe with you all
I hate you with every meaning of word
Every feeling is undone
Only suffering remains in this world
Decay grows up more and more
Despair and Misery in your souls
The Void grows up more and more
You thrown your wishes in a black Hole
Another night with my thoughts
Another cold, another fall
I want my dreams that they stole
I am that I have lost
My pain grows up more and more
Human Serpent is my World
The Void grows up more and more
Remember me when i will gone

Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass).
Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
